This is at the base, there was a trail that was at the bottom but I had to climb up the side with no trail..
This was at the top of a ridge that goes up to the foot of the montain.
A panoramic looking back toward the houses. Sam’s house is down there somewhere.
This is at the foot of the mountain, this is all loose rock and it felt like it would give way as I went up it.
This is just above the loose rock at the base, the ridge where I took the above pictures is just to the left and you can see the trail I took to get to the base of the mountain.
I snaped this picture because if you look it kind of looks like an eagles head sticking out.
This is about half way up, I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it up this part as it was a cliff face and I had no climbing gear.
Here you can see the cliff face, there is a crevasse just to the left that I used to clime up.
This is at the top of the cliff face, this is about two thirds up by now.
If you had looked at the other pictures from when I first came out here you’ll see a picture of the blimp. Way down there is its base, as you can see by the zoomed in picture Sam bought a very nice digital camera.
Yep, it gets cold enough in Arizona to make a snowman.
Its tough to tell but it was snowing when I got to the top. Its not fog but snow and you can also see the flakes as well.
This was at the top, I did not go any closer to the edge as it was very windy and it felt like I was gonna get blown of the edge.
On the way back down I found this cave.
I wanted to go in more but I had no flashlight and could not see any further in.
Well that’s it for the first climb.
